UC San Diego Athletics is launching a $2 million matching initiative to be able to recruit and retain the very best scholar-athletes. In partnership with UC San Diego Chancellor Pradeep K. Khosla, this matching initiative will match gifts to the Triton Champions Fund dollar-for-dollar, doubling the resources available to our programs.
Investments in scholar-athlete financial assistance, including NIL, will have an immediate impact while strengthening our ability to remain competitive in the Big West and as we transition to the West Coast Conference
on July 1, 2027.

You are able to support at the department-wide level by making a gift to the Triton Champions Fund or direct your gift to a specific team.
​Triton Champions Fund(s) provide support for UC San Diego Athletics programs, including but not limited to support for athletic financial assistance, which may include NIL (Name, image and likeness) compensation, and other programmatic needs.​​
